Ramon C. Cairo is Sidney’s father, a Winnipeg-based structural engineer, and co-founder of SIMOCA Foundation. Together with his wife, Clarisa, he is establishing the Foundation to honour Sidney’s kindness, love of learning, and quiet generosity by helping children access education and opportunities to grow.

Clarisa P. Cairo

Clarisa P. Cairo is Sidney’s mother and co-founder of SIMOCA Foundation. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce, major in Management, from Divine Word University of Tacloban. Based in Winnipeg, she has managed the family’s rental-property portfolio through Cairo Properties Inc. since November 2013 and has served as Vice-President, Finance of Cairo Engineering Ltd. since April 2014. She brings this experience in financial management and property administration to the Foundation’s development. Together with her husband, Ramon, she is establishing the Foundation in loving memory of Sidney and the kindness he shared with others.

Clarisa helped nurture Sidney’s curiosity and love of learning, sharing family journeys that introduced him to different cultures and traditions. Through SIMOCA Foundation, she seeks to honour his quiet generosity by helping children access education, carrying forward a legacy rooted in compassion, respect, and care for others.
